Giancarlo model, sunglasses by Lapo Elkann

This model takes its inspiration from the retro atmosphere of La Dolce Vita and the typically Italian stylishness of Fellini's characters. We wanted to convey the Italian spirit, and the great beauty of our country, and so we created Giancarlo: eyewear with a timeless design.

Giancarlo sunglasses have:

• temples secured to the rim with a 45° joint
• hinges with 5 joints to ensure maximum stability
• small metal plate engraved with "Laps Collection"      

The frames for Giancarlo sunglasses are in cellulose acetate, and all handmade in Italy with minute attention to detail. The design gives the wearer that genuine Italian look: an evergreen style that will never go out of fashion.
